THE NUG
The Nug is a bonkers "lady-buddy comedy" ™ about Trish and Darah, two dancers from Crystal City, Texas. After a coffee creamer explosion burns their club to the ground, the friends hit the road for California, chasing the golden promises of an inherited prospector map. Along the way, they blow up a car, adopt a baby squirrel, accidentally kill a dude or three, and gain confidence and self-sufficiency.
The Nug won Best Feature Screenplay in the WeScreenplay competition, 2019.
